When DH and I moved to the area a couple of years ago, I knew that I needed to find a gym and Fit 4 You was right on my way to and from work. I hesitated to stop in for the longest time. It had been a while since I'd worked out and I wasn't sure if I would fit in or not. Finally, right around Thanksgiving last year, I bit the bullet and went in. Suzanne was working at the front area and she was very friendly and helpful in explaining the services offered. I ended up joining that evening and ever glad I did! Shortly after, I enlisted a personal trainer, Dave, because I needed some extra help after the last few years of inactivity. I love the sessions with Dave - he kicks my workouts into high gear. He also takes the time to work with me on balance and coordination, both of which can be a struggle for me (diagnosed with MS 20 years ago). The once per week sessions with him plus my solo workouts are starting to pay off. I am getting stronger and more confident. Plus, my energy level has increased, which is the biggest bonus to me, as MS can leave one feeling extremely fatigued. The facility has most everything you could want in a gym and there generally is not any waiting time to use the equipment. The equipment is clean and in good repair. I have found the other trainers to be really encouraging when they see me, as someone who is new to the gym and the fitness scene, coming in day after day and trying so hard. I have yet to try any of the classes.I am really glad that I stopped in that evening and thankful for the encouragement that Dave and his staff show.
